The Albany
High Summer School Program is an accredited program offering
secondary-level instruction for all students in the city of Albany
and surrounding areas.
Abrookin Career Academy Summer Program
In addition to the academic program offered at Albany
High, there is a summer program offered at the Career Academy at the
Abrookin Vo-Tech Center for students who attended the Career Academy
during the school year. This program is in partnership with the Youth
Employment Office and the Housing Authority, and is modeled after the
High Schools That Work structure. It provides students with a work-based
learning environment, and there is a strong academic focus on social
studies and science.
