One proposition is on the May 15 ballot
On Tuesday, May 15, voters will be asked to consider the proposed
$189,535,737 school budget. Here is what will appear on the ballot

Shall the resolution
adopted by the Board of Education on April 16, 2007, authorizing
the City School District of Albany to expend the sum in the
amount of $189,535,737 during the 2007-08 school year and a levy
tax therefore be approved? |
There will also be a vote on May 15 for four open
seats on the Albany Public Library Board of Trustees. This vote is
unrelated to the school district. For more information about the
