The Arbor Hill Elementary
School Chorus will be one of only 15 area school singings groups
featured on the local PBS affiliate's "Music for the Holiday" show
in December.
On Nov. 28, the chorus will
travel to WMHT's studios in Troy to tape their selections for the show.
The chorus will be performing their spirited versions of "We Wish You A
Merry Christmas," "Silent Night" "We Three Kings" and "America, the
Beautiful."
According to WMHT,
Music for the Holidays 2006 will air on WMHT-TV at
7:30pm, Monday-Friday, December 18-22. The five half-hour programs will
also air Saturday, December 23, 2:30-5pm; Sunday, December 24,
9-11:30pm; and Monday, December 25, 7:30-10am. Highlights will also be
heard on WMHT-FM and WBKK-FM at various times throughout the holiday
season.
