Middle school students attend NanoCareer Day at SUNY
On Tuesday, May 23, students from Philip Livingston, Hackett, and Myers
Middle School attended the first annual NanoCareer Day held at the SUNY
College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Students were provided
with a firsthand look at the exciting world of nanotechnology, as well
as the numerous career opportunities it offers. The event included an
interactive tour of the complex, with several activities to illustrate
the enabling capabilities of nanoscale science and engineering. Each
student received a souvenir pen that doubled as a radio with headphones,
all created from nanoscale technology.
