Students at each school have been participating in after school "theater clubs" run by Park Playhouse since March. In the tradition of Park Playhouse, the program offers a basic hands-on approach to acting, dance, vocal, and technical training in musical theater and skills needed to understand and participate in a theater production.

Both programs are supervised by Park Playhouse Education Director and retired Albany schools teacher Shirley Arensberg. Her staff consists of staff and "graduates" of Park Playhouse II.
