Congratulations to Michael Lai, who runs the North Albany Academy computer lab and heads its Robotics Team, for being recognized with one of three "Tech Valley Innovative Educator Awards" from the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lai earned the honor for his work with the school's award winning Robotics Team as well as for   developing a partnership with RPI that has lead to the expansion of the robotics program to the 3rd and 4th grades. He has also coordinated professional development for our teachers with the faculty of RPI, and played a role in showcasing student robotics for the state elected officials.
