North Albany Academy has a winner in its  student robotics team

North Albany Academy students are shown with the third prize trophies they earned in a December robotics tournament at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The team spent 10 weeks preparing for the tournament, which featured more than 30 area teams. Teams were challenged on their ability to engineer their robots to complete assigned tasks, their ability to discuss how they are able to make the robots accomplish what they need them to, and a team presentation on nanotechnology, which was the theme of this year's contest.
