About Albany School of Humanities
Albany School of Humanities (ASH) is one of the three magnet elementary schools in the City School District of Albany and serves students in prekindergarten through grade 6.

The humanities approach provides students with an overview of diverse cultures reflected in art, language, literature, music, drama, dance and government. A Spanish program in all grades facilitates language acquisition and stimulates interest in language learning. Chinese language and culture also are infused into the primary curriculum.

For more information about the magnet program and application process, please contact the district's Magnet Office at 475-6070.
