School Clubs The Albany School of Humanities (ASH)
offers students several opportunities for community
service and after-school activities. These include
Service Learning, Future Teachers of America, Karate,
and Cub Scouts.
Karate classes are held on Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. by the
American Institute of Japanese Karate. Dance classes are
offered on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. by Cindy's
Academy of Dance.
A Museum Explorers program with the
Albany Institute of History and Art is available to 15
sixth-grade students selected to study art and history
using the museum's collections. This is offered one day
each month from 3-5 p.m.
