Chris Fagan area's only All Star in two
individual events
Chelcy Moore earns second-team honors
Albany High School senior Chris Fagan was selected to the
Times Union First Team All Stars for the 2007-08 indoor track
season, the only member of the All-Star team selected in two individual
events.
Chris, who finished seventh in the long jump at nationals
last month, was named to the first team in that event as well as the
sprints. He had the area's top time in the 200 meters during the indoor
season and the second-best time in the 300 meters. He was a three-event
winner at the Big 10 championships in January, leading the Falcons to
the title.
Senior Chelcy Moore also was named to the newspaper's
winter All Stars, gaining second-team recognition in girls' basketball.
Chelcy led the Lady Falcons to their best season in a decade, including
a second-place finish in the Big 10 and a trip to the Class AA
semifinals. |
