Albany High School Theatre Ensemble to present

The Runner Stumbles for annual fall production

ALBANY, N.Y. (Oct. 15, 2008) -- The award-winning Albany High School Theatre Ensemble will present the courtroom drama The Runner Stumbles from Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in the Albany High theater.

Written by Milan Stitt and based on a real-life murder mystery, The Runner Stumbles flares up with the intensity of repressed passion as a priest falls in love with a young nun at his parish. When she is brutally murdered, he becomes the prime suspect.

Will the clergyman be found guilty? And, if he didn’t commit the crime, who did?

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 through Saturday, Nov. 1. The performance Sunday, Nov. 2 is at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and $5 for students and senior citizens.

Download the Theatre Ensemble's annual brochure in .pdf format for complete information about the Theatre Ensemble and the 2008-09 performance schedule.
