-- The award-winning Albany High School Theatre Ensemble will present
the courtroom drama The Runner Stumbles from Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in
the Albany High theater.
Written by Milan Stitt and based on
a real-life murder
mystery, The Runner Stumbles flares up with the intensity of
repressed passion as a priest falls in love with a young nun at his
parish. When she is brutally murdered, he becomes the prime suspect.
Will the clergyman
be found guilty? And, if he didn’t commit the crime, who did?
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 through Saturday, Nov.
1.
The performance Sunday, Nov. 2 is at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are
$10 and $5 for students and senior citizens.

The City School
District of Albany serves approximately 8,400 students in 18
elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood
schools, the district includes several
magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic
opportunities for students. The
district is more than halfway through its comprehensive facilities
project to newly build and/or renovate nearly all of its elementary
and middle schools. The ultimate goal of the facilities project is
to provide schools with the resources necessary to help students
