ALBANY,
N.Y. (May 21, 2012) -- Albany High School's award-winning Theatre
Ensemble has to make room on the shelf for a few more accolades.
In the local version of Tony Awards for high school musicals, the

the Schenectady Light Opera Company.
Outstanding Performance Awards went to seniors Alejandro Torres,

played Alfred P. Doolittle, father of Eliza Doolittle.
Every year members of SLOC watch and judge all area high-school musicals
and then name winners and honorable mentions.

Performance Award include Amal Hechehouche, who played cockney flower
girl Eliza Doolitte, Nicholas Gardner, who played Higgins' colleague
Colonel Pickering, and Lucas Phayre-Gonzales, who played love-struck
