ALBANY, N.Y. (Oct.
19, 2011)
--
Albany High School seniors Wesley Pluviose-Philip and Jacquan
Williams are inviting the community to join the “Albany High Gives a
Sheet” campaign to help bring much-needed relief to flood victims in
the Schoharie Valley.
"Many
communities in our area suffered tremendous losses in the wake of
Tropical Storm Irene. You can assist in their recovery efforts by
donating a set of new bed
sheets (flat, fitted, pillow case), a “bed-in-a-bag” or a
comforter, or by making a monetary donation of $20 or more,"
Williams said.
The first 100 donors will receive a free
"Albany High Gives a Sheet" T-shirt.
"Let’s come together and show everyone that
the Albany Falcons
are here to help others that are less fortunate," Pluviouse-Philip
said.

Donations can be made by Monday, Oct. 31.

main office, 700 Washington Ave., or in any of the school’s four
academy offices. Please be sure to leave your name and contact
