End-of-year exam and activity schedules
ALBANY,
N.Y. (May 4, 2012) -- With final exams, graduations and summer
vacation on the horizon, the City School District of
Albany announces end-of-year schedules for its 15
schools.
Albany High School
-
Final
exams -- Career and technical education
class final exams will be held June 4-8. Final
exams for all students in all core subjects will
held June 5-8. Make-up exams will be held June
11-12. Click here for a schedule.

Regents exams -- Regents exams begin June
13 and run through June 21.

Last
day of classes -- June 12. After that,
students are expected to report to school the
days they have exams.

Graduation -- 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24 at
the University at Albany SEFCU Arena.

Elementary
schools
All elementary
schools in the City School District of Albany will
be dismissed early on their last two days of school
-- Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22.

activities.
The mission of the City School District of
Albany is to educate and nurture all students to be
responsible citizens, critical thinkers and lifelong learners to
successfully compete in the global community by providing an
academically rigorous and safe environment in partnership with parents,
students and the community. The district serves about 8,700
students in 15
elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood
schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as
well as other innovative academic opportunities for students,
including four themed academies at Albany High
School.
