Great things are happening in Albany's
public schools
 Curtis Sanders
Delaware Community School
His
positive attitude and behavior have made fourth-grader Curtis Sanders
a leader in his school.
Curtis dons a suit every Friday and performs "rounds" every Friday
with Principal Tom Giglio. He aspires to be a principal when he graduates
from college.
He contributes to the monthly school newsletter, often conducting
surveys of his peers and writing about his findings. This past year he
spoke before the Board of Education about Delaware Community School's
"Jammies for Japan" fundraiser to benefit victims of the March 11
earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
