Great things are happening in Albany's
public schools!
 Shaiyah
Lev, senior
Albany High School
Albany High's Discovery Academy has
the twin themes of communication and the arts. Shaiyah Lev, a
Discovery Academy student, is extremely talented on both fronts.
Shaiyah is
an articulate young man who so excels at playing the flute that he
holds first chair in the Empire State Youth Orchestra. He also is
active in Albany High's Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band and hopes to
continue to play flute in college.
As a senior, Shaiyah will be taking
part in Albany High's Criminal Justice/Legal Professions Career
Explorations Program.
