The City School District of Albany will induct eight new members into
its Hall of Fame at a special dinner on Oct. 14.
All are welcome to attend the dinner, which will be held at the
Polish Community Center on Washington Avenue Extension. Tickets are $35.

Education and Athletics at 454-3987, ext. 986. The deadline to RSVP is
Sept. 23.
The dinner kicks off Albany High School’s 2011 Homecoming
festivities, which continue on Oct. 15 with a ceremony that immortalizes
the new inductees on the school’s Wall of Fame. The annual Homecoming
parade follows, from Albany High to Bleecker Stadium for the Homecoming
football game against Gloversville.
The Hall of Fame inductees also will be honored at the annual Albany
Public School Teachers’ Association Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Outing
on Oct. 1. That RSVP deadline is Sept. 16.
