Sheridan
Preparatory Academy opened its doors in 2004. The school is located at
the site of the former Harriet Gibbons High School, which relocated to
Watervliet Avenue. The property was previously leased from the Catholic
Diocese and was purchased as part of the facilities plan to make room
for a new elementary school.
Sheridan Preparatory Academy
can serve up to 450 students in grades K-5. The 55,000-square-foot
building is divided into "neighborhoods" to group students by grade
level.
