Goal 1
Education through occupations and career preparation:
develop themes that attract all students.
Goal 2
Full integration of vocational and academic education so
that vocational education is an equal partner with
respect to improving the academic skills and knowledge
of high school students.
Goal 3
Improve the math, science, reading, and writing,
listening and speaking achievement of students,
stressing problem solving and decision making in a real
world context.
Goal 4
Integrate the basic content of traditional college prep
studies--English, math, and science--with vocational
studies by creating conditions that support the school
principal and faculty in carrying out key practices.
Goal 5
Improve school performance, particularly on the New York
State Regents exams and graduation rates of at-risk
students.
Goal 6
Raise student awareness of careers and ambitions to
pursue careers in a variety of fields.
Goal 7
Provide an academic foundation and technical skills that
enable students to continue their education beyond high
school, obtain employment leading to desirable careers,
or both.

Academic and career preparation, teachers working
together to provide meaningful instruction.

Continue to improve suspension rates, absenteeism, and
tardiness.

Initiate, improve, and expand course offerings that are
directly related to technology, provide students the
career skills to enter high technology and
