Programs offered at the Adult Learning Center are open
to all students in the area and meet the needs of a wide
and diverse population.
Current program offerings:
- GED
preparation - for returning students who want to
get a high school equivalency diploma.

ESOL - for students from various locations
around the world to learn English and/or improve
their English skills.

Office Occupations - classes to bring returning
students into today's world of computers and
computer applications. Students who complete this
program can be hired in various entry-level clerical
positions.

Health Services - classes certify students in
the areas of Personal Care Assistant, Home Health
Aide, and Certified Nursing Aide. Most students who
complete and pass New York State certification have
no trouble finding jobs.
