Goals for the 2015-16 School Year
Increase student performance, with at least
one year of growth in all subject areas and specials
through differentiation of instruction, student
engagement and cross-curricular work (NWEA, AimsWeb,
Ed City, Study Island, Exit Tickets and state math
and ELA exams will be the performance measures).
Science and technology:
Increased investment in science lab, technology and
training for independent usage by students and staff
by at least 50 percent.
Students as drivers of their own learning:
Promote a student-centered environment through the
use of student portfolio work to set and achieve
academic and behavioral goals two times per year to
be shared with family.
Parent involvement and engagement:
Continue to increase parent communication and
participation with Common Core Learning Standards
through the support of Academic Parent-Teacher Teams
by 20 percent.
Use Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS)
and Second Step to improve student behavior by 90
