School 19 School 19
serves students in Grades K through 5. Our mission is to
provide an environment through the cooperation of
parents, students, teachers, administrators, and
community residents in which students can achieve their
academic and emotional potential through the development
of self-confidence, self-discipline, self-expression,
and creativity.
As part of
the City School District of Albany's comprehensive
facilities project, School 19 students temporarily will
be relocated for the 2007-08 school year. Kindergarten
students
will be located at Eagle Point Elementary
The
former Montessori school on Park Avenue, the temporary
home
School at 1044 Western Ave., and students
for
School 19's grades 1-5 while the familiar New Scotland
Avenue
in Grades 1-5
will be located at the former
building
undergoes renovation.
Absence from school
If your child is absent from school for any reason, call
the school at 462-7242 during the morning and provide a
written excuse when your child returns to school.
