Understanding Stress and Trauma

This month's virtual Parent University focuses on understanding stress and trauma with live presentations by representatives from Starr Commonwealth, a national nonprofit whose mission is to create positive experiences so that all children, families, and communities flourish.

Join us for this month's sessions to learn how various types of stress can affect your physical and emotional health. Additionally,  we will discuss how self-awareness can be used to remain or regain control of personal emotions during difficult challenges.

You can also come prepared with questions of your own and have them answered. A district staff member from our Office of Pupil Personnel Services will also be available to assist with questions.

Recordings of both presentations will be available on this page after they are held live.
