COVID-19 exposure protocols

The following information is for the families of students who have been exposed to a person at school who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Please check your child’s backpack for rapid test kits your school sent home. If your child is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms please keep them home, use the test kits provided and reach out to your child’s school nurse with the test results. You can find the contact information for your school nurse on your school’s web page.

If your child is not currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and does not test positive with the rapid test kit that school sent home, your child may continue to attend school without interruption. We strongly recommend that your child wear a well-fitting mask for the next 10 days, and we ask that you continue to test as recommended for precautionary reasons.

As noted above, if your child tests positive please keep them home and report any positive results to your school nurse.

If you have any additional questions, please contact your school nurse.
