Albany High School has opened a school food pantry for students and their families.

The pantry officially opened on Feb. 24. Students and families need to register one time in order to "shop" there. If you would like to sign up, please call your student’s academy office or fill out this online form.

The pantry will operate Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-5 p.m. in room 104. Once students and families sign up, they will be able to get nutritious food free of charge when the food pantry is open. Due to COVID-19, people  will need to call for an appointment before they visit.

The food pantry will be overseen by Citizenship Academy Principal Kandie Antonetti. The school was able to start it with support from Hannaford Supermarkets and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Thanks to these community partners, Albany High will be able to offer another important service to students and families.
