Over 50 students gathered at our International Club on Wednesday afternoon to learn about the culture of Bangladesh! Our Falcons loved expanding their horizons as they took part in an enriching student-led experience of cultural sharing filled with the sounds, sights and tastes of this South Asian country.
Several students performed popular Bangladeshi songs, showcasing their vocal and instrumental talents. Club members also got to learn about the history of Bangladesh and see currency from the country firsthand. The event was topped off by sharing delectable Bangladeshi dishes including Chitoy pitha, Chicken Biriyani, Khichuri and Jhal Muri.
A big shout-out to club advisor Tara Burke for creating a space where students can learn about other cultures and share their own!
