JOB FAIR SATURDAY!
Save the date! The sixth annual Albany Booster Club Falcon 5K and Fun Run/Walk will be held Sunday, Sept. 23 in Washington Park.
Early registration is available online until 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20.
You also can download a form to register by mail, and those entries must be postmarked no later than Sept. 15. Please download one form for each participant and return all forms and a check payable to Albany Booster Club to Falcon 5K, c/o AREEP, P.O. Box 38195, Albany, NY 12203.
Cost to run is $15 for adults, $10 for college students and $5 for students in grade 12 and under.
Participants also can register on the morning of the race beginning at 8 a.m. for an additional $5 fee. Please notethat registration for the Kids Fun Run is available on the morning of the event only.

The race will start and finish at the Lake House in Washington Park. The 5K Run and Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. The one-mile Kids Fun Run will begin at 10:30 a.m. An awards ceremony will follow.
The Albany Booster Club supports a wide-variety of extracurricular activities throughout the City School District of Albany. More than 500 runners and walkers took part in the Falcon 5K in each of the past five years.
All are invited to participate in this fun community event to help celebrate the start of a healthy and productive new school year!
The mission of the City School District of Albanyis to work in partnership with our diverse community to engage every learner in a robust educational program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for success. The district serves about 9,500 students in 18 elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic opportunities for students, including four themed academies at Albany High School.
