Falcon tennis leads division

Wednesday’s boys’ tennis win over Averill Park (8-1) moved Albany High into first place in the Grey Division of the Suburban Council.

The Falcons’ single players dominated with Masami Surisawa (undefeated), Damien Ceniza, EJ Cabahug, Aerick Gonzales, Kevin McLeod and Joshua Marx strong victories,

The first doubles team of Ben Harris and John Lamont played with great energy in a thrilling match where they won 7-5, 6-4. The eighth-grade second doubles team of Stanley Cornell and Juan Diaz played a very competitive match and third doubles team of Dov Kovach and Ciaran Bambrick coasted to victory.
