Class of 2022 student-athletes celebrated before meet

A senior is celebrated before a track meet at Albany High SChool.

Varsity track kicked off the Athletic Department’s series of ‘Senior Nights’ on Wednesday before the teams’ meet against Schenectady and Ballston Spa.

The boys’ team beat both Schenectady (91-77) and Ballston Spa (102-76) with first place finishes in the 4x800m, 1600m, 4x100m, 400m, 800m, 200m, 3200m, 4x400m, long jump and high jump.

The girls’ team beat Schenectady 91-64 with first place finishes in 100m high hurdles, 100m, 200m, disc and triple jump.
