Sectionals results for Falcon track teams

The varsity boys' track and field team placed 8th overall, with 24 points, at Wednesday's Sectional Meet at Colonie High School.

Congratulations to:

• 3rd - 400m hurdles - Elijah Temple
• 3rd - 3200m - Neel Chittur
• 4th - 110m hurdles - Temple
• 5th - 400m hurdles - Xavier Hughes
• 5th - 100m- Jahcere Laboy
• 5th - long jump- Samir Gardner
• 6th -1600m - Graham Richard
• 6th - 4x100m relay - Laboy, Thompson, Lipscomb, Temple

Neel Chittur, Elijah Temple, Xavier Hughes, Malachi Young, Graham Richard, Adam Oblisk and Jahcere Laboy will be competing in the State Qualifiers next week at Shen.

The varisty girls' track and field team placed 11th overall, with 1 point, at the same Sectional Meet. 

Congratulations to:

• 6th - 200m - Kayla Huba.

 Kayla Huba, Ahriah Baynes (long jump) and the Falcon 4x100m relay team of Baynes, Huba, Teanna Lowe, Trinity Grant will be competing in the State Qualifiers next week at Shen.
