Boys’ tennis beats Guilderland

Masami Surisawa playing tennis

Congratulations to our varsity boys’ tennis team for a big Suburban Council win over Guilderland on Wednesday afternoon! The Falcons won the match 6-3, with great performances all around. Masami Surisawa dominated his match at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-0, with big wins from Josh Marx, Kevin McLeod and John Lamont as well.

Coach Anthony Omoragbon named Damien Ceniza and EJ Cabahug as players of the day, with Damien earning the biggest win of his career through a great comeback victory in three sets, and EJ displaying physical and mental toughness to overcome cramping and win his match.

Congratulations again to our Falcon student-athletes and Coach Omoragbon, who noted this as one of the biggest wins in his tenure as head coach!
