Falcon earns 'Athlete of the Year' title; other student-athletes also recognized

Congratulations to Masami Surisawa!

The Times Union chose the rising senior as its 2022-23 boys' high school tennis Athlete of the Year, citing his drive to improve - physically and mentally - plus Section II individual championship title and strong performance in the New York State Boys' Tennis Tournament at the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens. 

In the article, Coach Anthony Omoragbon stated "Masami knew his role and stepped in and became a great leader for the team this year. He is a great representative for Albany High. He played great tennis and he put in all the work. I am so proud of his efforts."

Additionally, the City School District of Albany is proud to announce the following student-athletes were recognized as Suburban Council All-Stars for spring 2023:
