Teacher concert and art show on Jan. 21

Male and female music teachers make music with plastic pipes

The Albany Friends of Music will host its annual Music Teacher Concert and Faculty Art Show at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for the art gallery in the lobby. The concert begins at 7 p.m., featuring music teachers from throughout the district performing solo and together.

The show is free, but donations are gratefully accepted and will benefit Albany Friends of Music.

There also will be a concession stand and pizza, tacos, beverages and desserts for sale, as well as a 50/50 raffle.
