The City School District of Albany has added Saturday hours at Academy Park to assist voters with this year's absentee voting process for the budget vote and Board of Education election.

You can drop off or pick up a ballot at Academy Park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The district's headquarters building is located at the corner of Eagle and Elk streets, in the park across the street from City Hall.

Academy Park also will be open Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. if you would like to pick up or drop off a ballot then. All ballots must be received by the voting deadline -- Tuesday at 5 p.m. Any ballots received after that time cannot be counted, even if they are postmarked prior to the deadline. At this time, the district recommends dropping ballots off in person to assure that they arrive prior to the deadline.

If you have not yet received a ballot, please contact District Clerk Tanya Bowie at (518) 475-6015 or tbowie@albany.k12.ny.us

We have developed step-by-step guidelines to assist voters in completing and returning absentee ballots. Please visit our 2020-21 Budget Information section to learn more about the budget proposal, board candidates and other items on this year's ballot.
