Albany High School seniors Robert Glover and Jareem Morris wrapped up their year as participants in the New York State Education Department’s 2020 My Brother’s Keeper Fellowship program – and they ended on a high note with their video production “Vote: It Matters.”

Glover and Morris spent the 2020-21 school year engaging with their peers from across the state. They participated in opportunities to gain authentic leadership experiences and develop service projects beneficial to their school and our community.

For their video, they interviewed three African-American elected officials about the power of voting and its importance to bringing about necessary social change. The video represented their capstone project for the year-long My Brother's Keeper Fellows program.
