COVID vaccines at middle schools on May 26

The City School District of Albany has partnered with an area pharmacy to offer free two-dose Pfizer vaccines at school on Wednesday, May 26 to students age 12 and up at the district’s four middle schools and Tony Clement Center for Education.

Young's Pharmacy & General Store will administer the first vaccine dose Wednesday, May 26 and the second dose Wednesday, June 16. Both will be given at school.

Please call the nurse at your student’s school to schedule an appointment. Please also complete this online permission form. (This information, including a paper copy of the parent permission form, also is being sent home in the mail).

If your student is a distance learner and you would like them to receive the vaccine, you will need to drop them off at the scheduled appointment and wait outside while the vaccine is administered.
