Community vaccine clinic Wednesday

COVID vax clinic first dose and boosters Wednesay at Myer

The Albany County Department of Health will hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.

The clinic will offer first and booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine to any eligible person. First doses are for people aged 12 and up and booster shots are for school employees and others designated as essential workers by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Public health experts will be on hand to answer any of your vaccination questions and address any concerns related to vaccination. No insurance or other paperwork is required, and the vaccine is free.

Please note that the Pfizer 1st and 2nd doses are approved for all individuals 12+ years old. A signed NYS COVID-19 immunization Screening and Consent Form is required by all those under 18. All persons 15 and under will be required to attend the clinic with a parent or guardian.

Register here for a first or second COVID shot. Walk-ins also will be accepted. A follow-up second-dose appointment will be scheduled at the time of the first dose on Wednesday.
