Celebrating American Education Week!

This week marks American Education Week, the annual national recognition dedicated solely to the administrators, faculty and support staff who work tirelessly every day of the year to serve the students and families of our community.

Public school districts like ours are the backbone of every community. We welcome students of all backgrounds, abilities and incomes. Each City School District of Albany employee plays an important role in supporting the success of all of our students, academically, socially and emotionally. Their roles – and our recognition of American Education Week – is important this year more than ever as we work together to keep student learning on track during the pandemic.
"I want to thank each and every one of you for your dedication to the success of our schools and our children," said Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams. "I recognize the work you do and truly appreciate your efforts to make a difference in our students’ lives! Together, we are building a brighter future for our city – we are 'All in for Albany!'"
