Meet our new assistant director of facilities, Raymond Johnson

Please welcome Raymond Johnson as the City School District of Albany’s new assistant director of facilities.

The Board of Education appointed Johnson to the position at Thursday night's meeting. He will begin in this new role Nov. 29.

Johnson, along with new Director of Facilities Ken Keefer, will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and supervision of the grounds and custodial staff throughout the district. 

Johnson is a 17-year veteran employee of the district, working for the department he will now help lead. His previous experience was at Albany High School, Abrookin Career and Technical Center, and William S. Hackett Middle School. Most recently, he served as a district-wide labor foreman.

Johnson is also a former Falcon – he graduated from Albany High School.
