JOB FAIR SATURDAY!
The City School District of Albany now has the potential to contact nearly 2,000 parents and guardians in their primary language via email.
This is because we have added on the automatic email translation feature for SchoolMessenger, which now allows us to broadcast emails in more than 30 languages in addition to English
SchoolMessenger determines language preference automatically based on parent/guardian data in SchoolTool, our student information system.
If you now receive messages in a language other than English, but would like to return to receiving messages in English, simply complete this form.
We hope this new function is helpful as we continue to work towards our district goal of empowering each and every one of our families.
Please note that at this time, the automatic translation feature is only for email messages, though we are exploring the possibility of translation for automated calls and text messages as well.
