The Albany High School boys' tennis team finished up its regular season with a 7-2 win over Colonie on Wednesday, clinching its first-ever Suburban Council Grey Division championship.

This was a highly contested match and, according to coach Anthony Omoragbon, the Falcons "earned every point, game, set and match."

Sophomore Masami Surisawa led the way in a dominating victory at first singles to finish his regular season with a 13-1 record. EJ Cabahug dug in deep to secure a victory while Damien Ceniza, Kevin Mcleod and John Lamont all took care of business to round out singles play.

The doubles teams of Ben Harris and Stanley Cornell and Juan Diaz and Dov Kovach also came through with impressive victories.

This was the Falcons' fourth win in a row and the team ended the season with a perfect 5-0 division record.

Congratulations to our Suburban Grey champions! Good luck in the upcoming team and individual sectionals!
