CDTA grace period extended through Sept. 23

Students getting off a CDTA bus at school

CDTA has extended the grace period for middle school and high school students through this Friday, Sept. 23.

While all secondary students may continue to ride through that date, eligible students with an activated ID card should use the card when boarding the bus. Students should report any problems with their ID card to an administrator at their school.

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 28, only eligible students with an activated ID card will be able to ride CDTA buses for free (all City School District of Albany schools are closed Sept. 26 in observance of Rosh Hashana, and all students are off Sept. 27 for a professional development day for faculty and staff).
