The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association announced Wednesday that City School District of Albany Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Ashley Chapple has earned its certified athletic administrator designation.
“To earn this distinction, Ashley Chapple has demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration,” the organization said in its announcement.
The certification process includes a thorough evaluation of each candidate's educational background, experience and professional contributions, as well as a rigorous, comprehensive written examination.
Chapple is among an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism,
