Five student-artists recognized in regional competition

Congratulations to the following Albany High School students, and their guiding teachers, for placing in the Capital Region Media Arts Festival:

  • Haley Vega (grade 11- guiding teacher is David Easton) - Untitled - honorable mention in Photography Still Life/Interior Spaces
  • Luke Gibson (grade 11 - guiding teacher is David Easton) - Untitled - honorable mention in Abstract Photography
  • Emily Farrell (grade 12 - guiding teacher is Diana DelGuidice) - EM Brand Board - 2nd place in Visual Identity and Marketing Materials Design
  • Eniyah Erwin-Chambers (grade 11 - guiding teacher Theresa Story) - Busan - 2nd place in Visual Identity and Marketing Materials Design
  • Anya Miller (grade 9 - guiding teacher is Theresa Story) - Clementine - 1st place in Digital Fine Art Design

This year seventeen school districts submitted 200 pieces to be part of the exhibition. The event was livestreamed on April 20.
