All three City School District of Albany middle schools and all grades at Tony Clement Center for Education will dismiss early on Wednesday, Jan. 17 for a professional development program for faculty and staff.

North Albany Middle School, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School, William S. Hackett Middle School and Clement will release students at 12:30 p.m.

Middle school students at Albany International Center will have a full school day Wednesday.

On the upcoming early dismissal days, regular CDTA and First Student buses will be available to transport students home at the earlier time. Please make arrangements so that your student can enter their home.

All after-school activities will be canceled. However, modified, freshman, JV and varsity athletics will be held. At dismissal, student-athletes should report to the school library, where they will be supervised by staff until the regular start time for their practice or game.

Professional development provides an important opportunity for staff in the school to come together and learn about the best ways to serve and support our students.

North Albany, Myers, Hackett and Clement will also dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on February 14 and March 20.

If you have any questions, please contact your student's school.
