The federal government shutdown continues to affect families across our school district, state and nation. This includes people who receive help from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), furloughed federal workers and those who may not be receiving a salary or benefits if the federal government shutdown continues.
There is food assistance available for families affected by the shutdown. Here are some ways to get help:
