Albany High senior Noah Bizer put forth an amazing performance at the New York State Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 15, qualifying him for the New York State Federation Championships!
At the state meet, Bizer ran the 3.1-mile course in 16:08, coming across the finish line in forty-third place out of 108 runners in Class A. Not only did he have a stellar race, he also was honored as the recipient of the Section 2 Sportsmanship Award!
The New York State Federation Championship will be held at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls on Saturday, Nov. 22. Bizer is one of four Section 2 student-athletes to qualify as individual runners for this prestigious competition. Only 46 individual runners from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) are selected statewide.
