Albany High senior Sincere Allah is off to a torrid start for the boys’ basketball team.
Sincere poured in 32 points in a narrow loss to Beacon on Saturday, tying a school record with eight 3-pointers. He shot an incredible 8-for-12 from long distance to equal the school record for made 3s set by Isaiah Austin in 2022.
On Friday, Sincere went 6-for-12 from 3-point range and scored 24 points to lead the Falcons in scoring in a win over Fox Lane.
He has been nominated for the Times Union boys’ athlete of the week honor for those performances. You can cast your vote on the Times Union website. Voting closes Wednesday at 6 p.m.
