Falcons nominated for High School Musical Theatre Awards

We know this news will be music to your ears—on April 1, Albany High School earned nominations in four different categories for the 10th Annual High School Musical Theatre Awards!

This program celebrates and showcases the amazing talent of students involved in high school musical theater across the Capital Region, with a red-carpet style showcase hosted on the MainStage at Proctors on Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m.

We are proud to announce Albany High School’s nominations in the following categories for "Mean Girls: High School Version"

• Outstanding Ensemble
• Outstanding Orchestra
• Outstanding Choreography Execution
• Outstanding Supporting Performer: Everett Mercier

Additionally, Ian Roach and Maeve Stein have received a callback for Outstanding Lead Performer, and the final top 10 nominees will be announced April 20! The two Outstanding Lead Performer winners will move on to compete at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards—also known as The Jimmys—this June in New York City.
