The creativity of City School District of Albany students will be on display from May 1-3 at the Albany Institute of History and Art.
The 12th annual Elementary Art Show is available for public viewing on Friday, May 1 (5-7:30 p.m.), Saturday, May 2 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sunday, May 3 (noon-5 p.m.) at 125 Washington Ave. All district elementary schools will be represented at the exhibit and admission is free for exhibiting students and their families.
"This event is one of a kind, as it is a special opportunity to showcase artistic talents," said Fine Arts Supervisor Kate Wright.
The opening reception on May 1 will also feature the William S. Hackett Middle School Jazz Club, starting at 5 p.m.
